For the past 3 years we have been establishing our ‘Sustainable Living Program’ where we can expand employment/training and work experience opportunities for people with disabilities in Horticulture and Animal Husbandry. We aim to utilise the fresh produce we grow on site in our catering and training kitchen and recycle our current scraps into chook food and rich compost. Slice of Life Australia (SOLA) is a Shoalhaven based Not-for-Profit organisation whose purpose is to provide supported employment for People with Disabilities (PWD’s) in hospitality. |
SOLA General Store offers a selection of Homemade Cakes and Slices, Fresh Organic Fair-Trade Coffee, Homemade Sausage Rolls, Quiches, Beef and Spinach lasagne, Macaroni Beef, Fresh Garden Salads, Fresh Sandwiches, Milkshakes, Papers, Magazines, Ice creams and convenience items. |
Reflections Cafe and Tea Room offers after funeral catering services. It is conveniently located within the grounds of the Shoalhaven Memorial Gardens & Lawn Cemetery, Worrigee Road, Worrigee. |

SOLA employs local People with Disabilities including Australian Apprentices for People with Disabilities (AAD) through local High Schools. SOLA also provides work opportunities for PWDs at schools, TAFE and with local support organisations. |
